What is NOT included in your credit report?

Not Included Minus SignOn a previous article we discussed what is included in your credit report. Given that we still get a lot of questions whether certain things are included in your credit report, let us tell you what in NOT included.

A credit report does NOT include the following information:

  • Your actual credit score. Your credit score is generated by information on your credit report, but is not part of the report.
  • Checking or savings accounts
  • Debit Cards or Pre-paid Cards
  • Bankruptcies that are more than 10 years old
  • Charged-off or debts placed for collection that are more than 7 years old
  • Information about your credit card rewards / cash back
  • Gender
  • Ethnicity
  • Religion
  • Political affiliation
  • Medical history
  • Criminal records
